Bringing Home Baby

It seemed like this day would never arrive, but here I am, proudly announcing the arrival of my 40", 1080p, 30,000:1 contrast ratio Samsung HDTV. I have no idea what all of that means exactly, but the sales nerd at Best Buy assured me that I needed it. Here are some pictures from the happy day.

Baby's first car ride:

Finally home!

Check it out! Only ten minutes old, and already broadcasting her first show. My baby's a genius.

Now all I have to do is upgrade to HD programming and then my life will be complete.

Oh Soooo! cool, dang - I must admit I can scarcely contain my envy...

it looks awesome!

Wade -out.

P.S. - Best Buy is one of my favorite stores... cool photo!

(I deleted my first post to add the ps - I didn't know it would stick around to show my inept posting abilities for all to see for ever!...)

You must be in pure heaven. :) BTW, David and I love Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report. And yes, I still miss you.

That is a very big television! Wow! Yeah, I was going to say Wade would be impressed, but it looks like he beat me to it. Happy watching!

Randi congratulations...I hope you hug the TV everyday. I wish I had a TV like yours...I guess my 16 inch black and white TV we got free on Craigslist will have to do for now.

Oh and how do I get put as a beneficiary on that TV should something happen to the owner?

So I just saw that you're coming to Boston for a visit in the fall. Can I get on your itinerary?

Phew, I'm glad I made it on the A List.

By the way, you would totally heart Jason's TV, which I now get to enjoy since I married him. It may or may not have been a factor in the decision-making process. I think it's 40 or 42 or some other very large number inches. We hardly go to the movies anymore since staying at home is almost as good and with fewer annoying people answering their cell phones and saying "Hello?...No, I can't talk, I'm at the movies...The MOVIES...No, I can't talk... OK, I'll talk to you later...What?...She said what?!...Oh no she di'int!" and so forth. Sorry, I've had some choice experiences.
