Help a Sister (Johansen) Out

OK, Mormons… so I have to teach the lesson in Relief Society this week, and I need your help. I'm drawing a major blank. If you would all go read the following talks and then share your thoughts, I'd be most grateful.

My lesson is based on this talk:
http://www.lds.org/general-conference/2013/10/the-strength-to-endure?lang=eng

But I also came across this article, which I thought was fabulous:
http://www.lds.org/ensign/1993/10/enduring-to-the-end?lang=eng&query=endure+to+the+end

I need an outline. And a thesis. And some good conversation questions. And anything else you can come up with. Aaaaand go!

I stumbled across your blog while looking up my ancestor, Eliza Gill Hartley, on the internet. I love your blog! I've only read a couple entries but I can already tell you are a sweet, hilarious, sassy lover of confections and national parks. I especially love that you take care of your dad. I just wished we lived closer and I could take you and your dad to lunch and swap family history stories. I hope you have a great day today!

Diana, how sweet of you to comment on my blog! I am a family history FREAK and I especially am curious about Eliza's story. There's so little I know about her, but what I do know is so fascinating! I don't know where you live, but if we ever find ourselves in your neck of the woods, I would love to take your up on your lunch offer. I don't turn down free food! :)

Take care, cousin!

Uh... I'm a little late with lesson help. How'd it go? I was just released from teaching RS. So glad! But you can pick my brain anytime. Now I'm just planning RS activities, I love being the party planner!
